with a half-life of 2.7 days, has been used to treat cancer and other illnesses.
• Melting Point: 1337.58 °k• Boiling Point: 3080 °k
• Appearance: soft, malleable, yellow metal • The melting point of gold is an assigned value, which
serves as a calibration point for the International Temperature Scale.
• Gold is a good conductor of electricity and heat. It is not affected by exposure to air or to most reagents.
• It is a good reflector of infrared radiation.
PROPERTIES OF AURUM
USES OF GOLD IN GENERAL
• Gold is used in coinage and is the standard for many monetary systems.
• Gold is used for jewellery, dental work, plating, and reflectors.
• Chlorauric acid (HAuCl4) is used in photography for toning silver images.
USES OF GOLD IN MEDICINE
• Anti-inflammatory properties and are used in the treatment of arthritis and other similar conditions.
• Gold alloys are used in restorative dentistry. • Used in research applications in medicine, biology and
materials science. • The technique of immunogold labelling exploits the
ability of the gold particles to adsorb protein molecules onto their surfaces.
• The isotope gold-198 is used in some cancer treatments and for treating other diseases.

TWO BASIC PHILOSOPHIES
WEEPING PHILOSOPHER
• Heraclitus of Ephesus was a pre-Socratic Greek philosopher.
• Little is known about his early life and education, but he regarded himself as self-taught and a pioneer of wisdom.
• From the lonely life he led, and still more from the riddling and paradoxical nature of his philosophy and his stress upon the needless unconsciousness of humankind, he was called "The Obscure" and the "Weeping Philosopher".
• Heraclitus is famous for his insistence on ever-present change in the universe.
• He believed in the unity of opposites, stating that "the path up and down are one and the same", all existing entities being characterized by pairs of contrary properties.
• Heraclitus used to sit apart from other philosophers in the school.
• "Ever-newer waters flow on those who step into the same rivers."

ROYAL RADIANCE
• Shines and glitters and overshadows all other metals. • Radiant with its yellow luster but in moderation; it yet
maintains itself in serene aloofness & does not allow itself to fade away to the circumference after the manner of ordinary yellowness.
• In colour, it holds itself together & does not loose itself in dissipation. It has a royal radiance which magnanimously gives without becoming empty.
• In colloidal solutions it shows enormous colors; greenish blue, violet, reddish ,violet-blue or pure rose. When beaten into gold leaf it becomes translucent and in the transmitted light it is lovely green.

• Astrology places the metal gold under reign of the Sun. • Through nuclear reactions the Sun generates its own
energy. The planets are born from the Sun. The Sun is in a way the father of the family of our solar system.
• All life on the diverse planets depends on the Sun. Remedy• A strong feeling of responsibility and the idea that they
have to solve all their problems by themselves. • Take up the leading role in the family.
GOLD AND SUN
• The Sun is at the heart of physical life and gold can be a central force in human activity.
• In all its properties it shows balance between earth heaviness and sun lightness and these polarities are balanced with the fluidity which manifests in its malleability & ductility.
• Gold can be made so thin like a film and one can see through it. The film is used to defrost windows.
Remedy • Sees the life through frosted lens. The Sun seems to have
stopped shining, instead of radiating, Aurum travels along the path of loss of identity.

GENERAL INDICATIONS OF AURUM GROUP
COMPETITION AND EXCESS
• A strong sense of competition, as they want to achieve their high goal.
• Related to excess. Too much ego, competition or goals that are too high = failure is around the corner.
• Self-aggrandizement, of sadness, of trifles, of everything.
• Sublimation. Everything is distinguished.• Constructive, but may turn into destructive, more of
self (Mirilli's themes; revengeful: AUR aur-ar aur-m-n aur-s).
DESTRUCTION • Life is a fight. Fights with missionary zeal. Fights
outrageously. • I must be responsible. I AM responsible for everything. • Success is not enough. More success is not enough. • Breaking point comes when they feel they are failing. • The self-destruction starts in the moment he is aware he
can’t continue to compete in reaching his goals and therefore feel a failure.
• Not performing the duty at the peak level could be an IMP factor.
• Can get destructive diseases when he can't commit suicide.
• Aurum is known for its suicidal disposition.
REALIZATION
• Aurum must realize his goal, his ideas and himself.• Not satisfied only by a goal, but must realize himself
and feels he did good work. • He is the most important judge of himself. • He has to be happy with what he did. • Reducing the egotism of an Aurum is important for
their health. • Make him realize that it is not so important to do
such big things in order to stay healthy.
AMBITIOUS
• Mind; industrious, mania for work: AUR aur-ar aur-m-n
• Mind; occupation, diversion; amel.• Aurum can avoid relationships by
being over busy. • Think about the attitude of the king,
they have to do so much that they avoid having a relationship with their wife.
• High sense of responsibility helps to achieve the ambition.
COMPENSATION & DECOMPENSATION
Compensation • To postpone their goal but then to enlarge it when they
resume again. • The more they enlarge their goal the harder they have to
work to reach it and then the goal soon becomes so enlarged and ultimately very difficult to reach.
DECOMPENSATION
• When they finally realize they can't realize the larger goal and they crash.
• Before decompensation, they may not yet have the serious heart disease and they will be working like crazy and with huge goals.
• Until Aurum decompensates they are builders and constructors.
• The main attitude for them is to be constructive.
BODY LANGUAGE
• Compact, muscular bodies.• Stiff and rigid (as a result of
muscle tension) • Face: Gaunt and angular;
expression stiff with dark or black hair.
• Nose: Congested; red, knobby tip, greatly disfiguring the face.
• Neat in appearance; old fashion dress; religious mark on forehead.
• Benevolent gestures• Depressed gestures
