    Background

    1. By resolution of the Director of the Council of the Ramon Llull Institute (the “Ramon Llull Institute”)

    of 9 January 2020 (Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia (“DOGC”) no. 8047 of 22 January

    2020), as modified by resolution of 10 July 2020 (DOGC no. 8179 of 17 July 2020), on the award of

    grants by competitive process for the publication abroad of illustrated works.

    2. The applications presented within the specified period in the competitive process in reference are

    in the record of the process.

    3. On 18 November 2020 the evaluation committee met to review and evaluate the applications

    submitted.

    Legal foundations

    1. Law 38/2003 of 17 November on grants in general and Royal Decree 887/2006 of 21 July, which

    approves the Regulations of Law 38/2003 of 17 November on grants in general.

    2. Legislative Decree 3/2002 of 24 December approving the consolidated text of the Public Finance

    Law of Catalonia.

    3. Government agreement GOV/85/2016 of 28 June approving the amendment of the model rules for

    1. To propose the applicants listed in the Annex as recipients of grants in the amounts and for the

    purposes set out therein.

    2. To require, if necessary, the proposed recipients to submit the required documentation within 10

    working days from the day after the publication of this resolution.

    3. To stipulate that failure to present the required documentation within 10 working days from the day

    after the publication of this resolution shall entail the withdrawal from consideration of the application.

    4. To provide that the proposed recipients of grants shall have 10 working days from the day after the

    publication of this resolution to make any representations or to withdraw their application.
