The entrance to the Airport will be closed to the public with NO RIGHT TURN signs.No Parking cones will be placed on the roadside to avoid stopping.

This will be marshalled as this is the hospitality entrance and can still be entered by goingto the rounderbout and back again.

D.O.T roadsigns will be in place in the area around Blackbushe and on the roads to the entrancerounderbout to avoid any confusions.

Signs will be directing traffic and public along red rout to position B.

Here will be marshalls and 4 drive through ticket bays.1. Day cars and show cars with a wrist band and window ticket for show cars2. Pre paid tickets sent then to parking wrist band already supplied by post3. Cash day sales sent to parking wrist band given4. Walk in public cash sales/pre paid ticket sales

There will also be two people from my team handling the money and removing in batchesto avoid too much build up

All entrants will have terms and conditions of safety etc on their ticket plus this will be markedon signs as they enter.

Marshalls will direct all traffic to parking in this area and direct the public to the entrance ofthe event through the only access D

Public will have their own walkway with barriers and cars sent through a roadway usinga seperate barrier road

Marshalls will check for armbands here and send along black route to the event.Route from parking to event will be fenced by crowd barriers to keep public to markedentrance.

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT


Day show cars and entry vehicles will get into the event along the pink route whichwill send them along the old runway. This area will be marshalled and coned to avoidthe temptation to speed. Bollards and barriers will be in place to avoid speeding.

The day cars will be parked with marshalls on the grass in this area for the publicto walk around and see.

After the event they will leave the same way they came in.

Signs will be placed along the way in and exit to avoid any confusions.

There will be a pit line up of traditional dragsters from the 60’s and 70’s from the UK andfrom the US.

During the event a few will be called out to drive to an arena area where they will stop andbe interviewed. This area will be fenced off from the public.

After the interview and trophy presentation the cars will start and return to the pits.

A stage will be placed behind the Bushe Cafe within the hard standing and fenced area.Two groups will appear. 11am will be The Beach Boys and 2pm will be Eric Clapton

Both high quality tribute bands.The cafe will be used for the entrance to the stage and for VIP Hospitality for thecelebrities and charity organisation.

The car parking will be off limits and marshalled to the public and can have access only for guests and staff of Blackbushe Airport.

A few demonstration vehicles, only one at a time will drive to a mock up of theoriginal dragstrip with startline, signs and flagman.

These will pull away with some noise for 60feet and shut down to travel to end of runwayarea to be towed back to pit area

This whole area is fenced off from the public for safetyDrag racing safety crews will be present

There is extra run off if necessary but 60feet will not get the cars to any speed.

PROPOSAL OF EVENT

List of events

Ideally the race cars, trade stands, fair, wall of death, stage, marquee and fencing can be set up on Friday the 3rd August. We are not on the main runway during setup or dismantle.Again the dismantle of these will be on Sunday 5th August.

Event to open at 9am with marshalls at all areas. Cars can be parked from 8am but public held back until 9amWe hope for a minimum of 5000 people to attaend.

AN EVENTS COMPANY WILL CONTROL ALL AREAS OF THE PUBLIC. THESE PEOPLE ARE IN RADIO CONTACT AND HAVE FULL CROWD AND MEDICAL TRAINING. THE PROPOSED LOCAL COMPANY USE GURKAS FOR THIS.TOILET FACILITIES WILL BE PLACED IN AREAS AROUND THE WHOLE EVENT TO COVER THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF PUBLIC WHO HAVE BOUGHT TICKETS.ST JOHNS OR SIMILAR ORGANISATION WILL BE ATTENDING

Trade stands and Fair are open all day with the childrens entertainers, wall of death, face painting at periodic times throughout.A mobile tannoy system will play music and give commentary all day

Attractions:1. 10am Beach Boys concert 45mins2. 12am Demonstration of single cars on strip 60mins 3. 2pm Eric Clapton concert 45mins4. 4pm Cars travel to arena for awards ceremony

5. Finish at 5.30pmEvents company to ensure all public have left

They are endorsing the trophysMooneyes will endorse a trophyAllard will be appearingThe People newspaper want to support again and will put covereage in the paper at any time and will cover the eventGoodyear Tyres want to support the event again with advertising within Goodyear and with old signage

Many celebrities have been contacted to attend including Chris Evans

AdvertisingThere is magazine coverage already and this will continue until the eventTV companies are being contacted in the UK and US to cover the event

CouncilThe council have been approached and we have to sit in front of a safety commitee and get a temporary events license

We have agreed to help Aerobility Charity by donating money from every ticket to them

We propose a cost to have use of Blackbushe Airport for the setup, day and takedown of £10,000.00. Inclusive of vat if necessary.Blackbushe will also beni�t from all subliminal advertising generated by advertising through radio, tv, lea�ets, newspapersand magazines until the event.Google is already showing strong presence for ‘Blackbushe’
