• Flags remain until corrected (grantee resolves the flag condition)
• Unresolved flags do not prevent Action Plan or QPR approval
• Release of flags• First set of 10 flags will be released in Fall 2017
• New flags will be added over time (does not require a release)
• Guidance will accompany each flag release
13
Home Screen: Flags Overview• In this section we will discuss:
• Basic Flag Workflow
• Accessing and searching Flags
• Flag statuses
• Grantee Remediation Comments

14
Home Screen: Flag WorkflowItem is Flagged
• A condition occurs in DRGR that causes a flag to be created.
• The Flag has a status of Active and can be managed from the Home Screen.
• Flag count will appear in My Action Items
Flag is Managed
• Grantees should try to resolve the flag prior to Action Plan or QPR submission.
• Remediation Comments may be entered by Grantee.
• HUD may enter comments via Action Plan or QPR Review Screens.
Flag is Resolved
• When the flag condition is resolved, the flag status will update automatically
• Flags status can be updated manually through the FLAGS option of the Home Screen.
15
Home Screen: Access and Search Flags• The Home Screen includes “FLAGS” option on left-hand menu
• To search for flagged Items, click on the Flag link
16
Home Screen: Access and Search Flags• Searching for Flags:
• DRGR includes a Basic Search or Advanced Search
17
Home Screen: Flag Status• The three Flag Status types:
Active
Flags are configured with conditions or
criteria that, when met, will cause an item to be
actively flagged. These flags will have a Flag Status of Active.
Complete
When the condition that caused the flag is resolved, then the Flag Status will be changed
to Completed
Acknowledged
The Flag Status of Acknowledged is only
applicable for QPR based flags. An active
flag is automatically changed to
Acknowledged when the QPR is approved.
18

• Automatically when the flag condition is resolved (e.g. daily, weekly or once per month)
• Manually/Immediately:
• Search for and select the Flag that has been resolved
• Click on the “UPDATE SELECTED FLAGS” button at the bottom of the search results screen
