One Drop Lab for Change, Lazos de Agua Special Edition is a unique opportunity for diverse WASH actors to get together, share their knowledge and learn from each other. One Drop celebrates the commitment of its partners to ensure access to water and sanitation for all, the Sustainable Development Goal that we all work for every day. This international meeting bears the hallmark of Lazos de Agua, the innovative program of One Drop, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), The Coca-Cola Foundation and Fundación FEMSA. We welcome all of you, those who have travelled from far away and those who host us in this great country. In this beautiful city of San Miguel de Allende, we gather people from over 16 countries, who speak many different languages, are part of 13 projects, and work with 20 organizations, creating impactful and sustainable solutions by dovetailing the Social Art for Behaviour Change approach with access to infrastructure, capacity building and market-based solutions, including financial products and income generating activities. Let’s make the most of this experience, complementing each other as individuals and organizations, as actors of change, as multifaceted people beyond our job titles. So, let’s move forward together, keeping our motto close to our hearts: Exchange. Go Beyond. Change the Story.

ONE DROP PARTICIPANTS

ALAIN ROBERT Travel Specialist - Consultant [email protected]

Alain has worked in many niche travel markets since beginning his career in his early twenties. He started in Paris, France where he lived for almost 10 years and worked with educational student travel agencies and guided tours throughout Europe. He later worked for branded tours such as Groupe Accor and Contiki Tours. When Alain relocated to North America, he worked aboard a cruise ship for Celebrity Cruises where, following a

supervisor position for the touring shows division. He also worked as a lead flight attendant for a national Canadian carrier for 3 years until show business contacts asked him to build a travel program from the ground up for a Montreal-based production company producing three shows for MGM in Macau, China. Today, Alain offers his travel management services to companies as a consultant.

“Travel as much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.” Alain.

ANNA ZISA Project Officer [email protected]

Anna was raised joyfully in the city of eternal spring in Mexico and now continues to grow merrily through voluntary hardship in the extreme weather of Montreal. ISABELLE VIENS Social Art for Behaviour Change Expert [email protected]

Isabelle doesn’t have a moustache, but if she had one, it wouldn’t be black. Her story, as she depicts it, is an incredible one, from her background in human resources management to high school and drama teaching, it has been explosive. Isabelle has spent more than half her life away from her hometown of Montreal. She made Latin America and the Caribbean her home, becoming a farmer in the Dominican Republic, among tarantulas and snakes far too

big, as she distinctly recalls. Isabelle has met women’s eyes full of dreams, dreams she supported and collaborated with in all kinds of languages, from Ewe of Togo, Quechua of Peru,

Nahuatl of Mexico, Miskito of Nicaragua, Quiché of Guatemala, Guaraní of Paraguay and Spanish, “the language of love,” as she calls it. All these adventures, these opportunities, have brought the colours of social art, popular education, citizen participation and youth leadership to her life; projects and creations in rainbow colours, in which everything is possible using everyone’s inner strength.

“Rien n'est impossible ... alors qu'est-ce qu'on attend ?” Isabelle or “la Isabelle”, “la chabelita”, “la güera”.
