Instrumentation. It may be the field of Engineering, Installation, Commissioning,

System Modification / Upgrading or troubleshooting, you will find our services to

Besides the above mentioned assignments we are also experienced in sophisticated

electronic control gears. We have been involved in the repair of a lot of electronic

cards with complete command over the problem. Problems related to variable

frequency drives, inverters, PLC’s, DCS systems are also tackled professionally.

with international consultants has given us the exposure and confidence required to

execute most Intricate Large projects & typical assignments of any nature.

FOREIGN EXPOSURE

The lead personnel of DS Engineering have foreign exposure and the experience of

handling the international assignments up to completion. The following is brief

description of all the international Exposures / Projects handled by the lead

personnel and DS Engineering Services:

Training in Siemens Germany spread over 12 months on Industrial Equipment /

Network protection and PLC systems especially tailored for Testing and

commissioning.

Training on H.V (132 & 220 KV) SF6 circuit breakers with Siemens in their

Shaltwerk, Berlin for 3 months. Also looked after the After Sales Service of these

breakers in WAPDA / KESC and Private Customer on behalf of Siemens Germany

as their Authorized Representative.

Commissioning / Troubleshooting in Nike factory in Malaysia of Calendar

Machine equipped with 4-quadrant DC system. Were deputed by Siemens

Germany for this assignment. Visited again next year for preventive maintenance

on Client’s request.

Complete supervision of Electrical / Instrumentation of Sugar plant in Subhang,

Indonesia supplied by HMC. Testing / commissioning of complete plant and

operational duties for total span of One and a half years.

Visit to Turkey to access the equipment for Traffic Signaling Control System.

King Palace Mecca – Commissioning of PLC, Load Management System. Complete PLC based controls were handled

Handled the complete switchgear (Around 1100 panels) for installation and pre-

commissioning at ARAMCO Corporate Data Center Project in Dhahran Saudi

Arabia.

Installation / Testing / Commissioning of Cement Grinding Plant in Basra, Iraq.

The assignment was complete on Turn Key Basis on E & I side.

COMPANY’S ACITIVITIES

DS Engineering Services has been enrolled in many tasks whether it’s the installation

of an entire project to repairing of simple electronic cards. DS Engineering does it all.

Some of the major activities handled at DS Engineering are enlisted below:

1) Installation DS Engineering has been associated with a number of installation activities each

completed successfully up to the mark with total satisfaction from the client.

DS Engineering has the capability to handle large scale as well as the small scale

projects very easily and efficiently. The man power required for a small assignment

of 100 manhours to a large Plant requiring 100,000 manhours is available along with

all necessary tools and tackles. The jobs are executed in a scientific way involving

Time and Cost Control methods and the complete analysis of all the major

parameters and their relation involved in the completion of the project. DS

Engineering also keeps in view the risks that might be involved as well as managing

it and trying to overcome it before it looks up. The S-Curve, Manpower build up,

Progress monitoring curves are also used to monitor medium and large installation

sites. Timely reports highlighting the progress and the happenings of the site are

used to inform the leadership as well as to keep the client aware to the extent the

target has been achieved.

2) Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting DS Engineering has one of the most competent professionals in this field. Having

dealt with challenging assignments during the past so many years we feel quite

comfortable in handling such jobs. All the jobs are properly executed according to

check lists and results are documented on Standard Performa.

We perform Relay Testing by Primary and Secondary Injection, Checking of

interlocking, High Pot Test of cables and Switchgears, testing of Pressure,

requirements. We will assist you in listing down the vital spares. This maintaining of

the store items reduces the down time in case of emergency shutdowns massively.

Being on the annual maintenance contract buys you the advantage of being our

priority client and get immediate attention at any hour of the day. We are also

available on telephone for consultation / clarification regarding your Plant. This

annual maintenance contract comprises of number of monthly visits on site as per

3.2) On Call Basis Services These services are provided to you upon request only. We have standard rates for

performing different jobs. You just approve these rates and services shall be

available on these rates throughout the year as when required. This agreement buys

you the advantage that there is no need of getting into approval business and

3.3) Once a Year Service This package is specially tailored for grid stations, Sugar, Cement Industries and

of LV switchgears. We have accomplished very challenging assignments up to the
