FTTH IP65 8-Way Termination Box

The TBP8-001 is a compact, moulded plastic fibre termination / splice box with a capacity of up to 8 SC or Dual LC adaptors. It includes an integral splice cassette with a maximum capacity of 24 splices. It is fitted with three M20 cable glands suitable for cable diameters of between 6 and 12mm, with a built in strength member clamp on the rightmost port. The unit also features a knock-out on the back plate for patch leads. The unit measures 160mm x 200mm x 42mm excluding glands. The flexible configuration and an environmental protection rating of IP65 makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, both indoor and outdoor—for example:

As a Fibre-To-The-Home (FTTH) or Fibre-To-The-Premises (FTTP) termination point. As a simple patch enclosure. As a 24-way splice only enclosure for joining two cables. As a branching splice enclosure to join a 24-way cable to two 12-ways. As an add/drop enclosure where most fibres are spliced through, with 8 SC or 16 LC connec-tors presented on the bulkheads. As a simple end-point for a fibre cable—16-way using LC pigtails or 8-way using SC. Any combination or variation of the above.
