The main rules• All entries must be received by 31st January 2017 with the

work being undertaken and completed within the twelve months up to 31st December 2016.

• You must have used AkzoNobel Trade products for the job.

• You must obtain the homeowner’s permission to enter their job and for us to use any photos supplied in our marketing and advertising. Please note that individual names and addresses will not be given out at any time.

• All jobs must be domestic i.e. non-commercial.

• Judging will be undertaken by the Dulux Select Decorators appointed panel.

• Entry is strictly by the Dulux Select Decorators of the Year Awards 2017 entry form.

Why should you enter?Winning has proved to be a valuable accolade to previous winners. Give yourself a chance, your job could be a winning entry.

This year’s awards will be presented at the Dulux Select Decorators Annual Party in early 2017 and this year, we want to break records for entries and be able to showcase the great work you’re capable of.

We would also like to take a moment to remind all members that any job could be award winning work. A job is not judged on how grand it is or how picturesque the building is, all entries will be judged on three main factors: professionalism, customer service and workmanship.

If you are successful in winning an award you could win up to £1,500 worth of vouchers, £500 for each category and a further £1000 for the Grand Winner! However, if successful the benefits aren’t just monetary, you also get the kudos, positive PR and business promotion that come from the award title.

Competition terms and conditions1. By entering into the promotion Participants agree to be bound by these terms and

conditions.

2. Each category winner will receive £500 worth of Bonus Bonds vouchers. In addition the Grand Winner will receive £1,000 of Bonus Bonds Vouchers.

3. The promotion is open to professional decorators who are members of the Dulux Select Decorator Scheme and resident in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, excluding Republic of Ireland) (“Participants”) and excludes employees of the AkzoNobel group of companies (the “Companies”) [or employees of any participating stores], their families or agents or any other person connected with the promotion.

4. To enter the promotion simply complete the entry form and return the form to Dulux Select Decorators, 72 Nottingham Road, Arnold, Nottingham NG5 6LF by 31st January 2017 (the “Closing Date”).

5. Participants must have (i) completed work of a domestic nature in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, excluding Republic of Ireland), (ii) only used AkzoNobel products for the work, (iii) undertaken and completed the work within the twelve months up to [and including] 31st December 2016 and (iv) obtained the consent of the homeowner to enter the work done in their home into the promotion and for the Companies to use any photos supplied with entries in any marketing or advertising by the Companies for entries to be eligible for winning the prizes.

6. Entries will only be accepted on the official entry form. Photocopies will not be accepted.

7. No third party or bulk entries will be accepted.

8. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are incomplete, illegible, lost or damaged.

9. Entries are limited to two per [address/person], one interior and one exterior.

10. The promotion will run from 1st January 2016 to the Closing Date.

11. The prize winners will be judged by the Dulux Select Decorators appointed panel.

12. The prize winners will be notified at the Dulux Select Decorators Annual Party.

25. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that, by submitting/uploading a photograph in connection with the promotion, he/she thereby grants an exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free licence to the Promoter to use and reproduce that photograph.

26. The Participant warrants to the Promoter that any submitted/uploaded photograph is the result of his/her original work and that the use and reproduction of the photograph does not and will not infringe any intellectual property rights owned by third parties. The Participant agrees to indemnify the Promoter in full in relation to any and all losses, costs or expenses which may be suffered by it in connection with any breach of this warranty by the Participant.
