Commissioner Note:

During the month of May Municipality is implementing schemes for development of the town.

We are working on activities, we are also implementing the state and central government

schemes such as Implementation of Housing for all, Go-No 279 on Solid Waste Management

and AMRUT.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued instructional to conduct massive drive on control

mosquito menace naming “Domalapai Dandayatra and Parisarala Parishubraha” three new hand

fogging machine. Hand pamphlets and booklets containing the information on awareness of

seasonal diseases are distributed to the public under them at drive programme.

The council meeting organized in the last week of the month came up with 18 agendas. The

Meeting mainly focussed on development works in town under SC - SP grants, 14th

finance

AMRUT works and other development works also granted funds for these purpose.18 agendas

have been accepted by the council.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh Ministry of Municipal Administration & Urban

Development Department (MOUD) has conducted meeting in Nandyal Municipality, District

Collector Sri. Satyanarayana, Director of Municipal Administration Sri. K.Kanna babu all

Departments HOD’S , Hob’ble Chair Person Smt. D.Sulochana, Municipal Commissioner Sri A.

Satyanarayana and Municipal Staff are attended for this meeting. Meeting mainly focused on

removal of Pigs in Nandyal ULB.

the following works have been taken up on May month. Lying of Metal road near Samatha vidya

Nikethan in ward no14, with an estimated cost of rs7.70 Laks Bhomi Pooja had done on 24th

2016 by our Honourable chairperson Smt. Desam Sulochana garu for the construction of road

works.
