This is in continuation of the earlier circular of even No. dated 13.08.2014 in respectof power supply connection to the quarters.

It has been repofted that some offices/stations are using the electricity connection forresidential staff quarters from office/transmitter/bulk connection. All the Head of office ofAIR Station/offices must take further necessary action so that all the allotees of AIR staffquarters have individual domestic power supply connection from the concerned electricit-vboard for his quarter and individual allotte should be liable to deposit his bill to the ElectricSupply authority. The disconnection of power supply will also be ensured by the individual,at the time of vacation of his quarter. The office must confirm the full clearance of dues at thetime of vacation. Under no circumstances the statiorVoffice should bear the cost of initialconnection & electricity used in staff quarter. Failure to observe these instruction will resultin disciplinary action against the defaulters.

Zonal offices are requested to ensure the implementation of the above guidelines.This is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
