Caraka Tani: Journal of Sustainable Agriculture publishes original articles, review articles,

case studies and short communications on the fundamentals, applications and management

of Sustainable Agriculture areas. This journal has two issues in a year and it will be published

in April and October.

Caraka Tani: Journal of Sustainable Agriculture is a national and multi-disciplinary journal in

Sustainable Agricultural research. This journal covers research in the following areas:

agricultural conservation, agricultural ecology, organic farming, agro biodiversity and

permaculture includes sustainable agriculture economic (agribusiness, social-economic

agricultural issues, agricultural development, agroindustry), agricultural diversification, soil

and water conservation, soil quality and health, agricultural climate, food security, animal

welfare and integrated pest and disease control biologically.

PREFACE

Chief Editor

We express our gratitude Alhamdulillaahi rabbil 'aalamiin, praise be to Allah SWT, with His

abundance of grace and guidance, Caraka Tani: Journal of Sustainable Agriculture Faculty of

Agriculture UNS Volume 35 Number 2 October 2020 can be published according to the

planning and expectation. Caraka Tani is a media of scientific information that can be a means

of communication between researchers in the study of sustainable agriculture.

Articles in journal can be used as references on research for those who need them in

accordance with academic rules. This journal provides information on science and technology,

especially to support sustainable agricultural development field. We hope that readers,

researchers and practitioners in sustainable agriculture will participate in contributing their

work in order to advance and disseminate knowledge in all the related areas of sustainable

agricultural development.

The Editorial Board has effort by systematic and continuous process in order to develop

Caraka Tani has become a nationally accredited journal and also an international reputable

journal. Since 29th October 2018 Caraka Tani has been accepted and listed in Directory of

Open Access Journals (DOAJ). And then on 10th December 2018 Caraka Tani has been

accredited and indexed in SINTA 2 for five years (Vol. 33 No. 1 April 2018 until Vol. 37 No. 2

October 2022) as scientific journal based on Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher

Education of the Republic of Indonesia SK No 34/E/KPT/2018.

High appreciation and thank to the Dean and Vice Deans of Faculty of Agriculture UNS along

with all staff, Reviewers, Editorial Board colleagues, Editorial Officers and all those who have
