Prof Johann de Vries Professor and Dean, School of Dentistry, University of Adelaide, AustraliaAfter qualifying as a dentist in 1974 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and spending some time in a private general practice, Prof De Vries joined full time academics. He obtained the B.ChD (Hons) and M.Dent degrees from the University of Pretoria. Prof De Vries was Head of Operative Dentistry at The Medical University of Southern Africa for 10 years and Dean for seven and a half years. He served as the chair of the Dental Deans Committee.1998 to 2006 Prof De Vries was Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Manitoba, Canada. He was awarded the Fellowship of the “International Academy of Dentistry”, the Fellowship of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and was inducted as a Fellow of the “American College of Dentists” and a Fellow of the “International College of Dentists.”Prof De Vries has held many positions including President of the International Federation of Dental Educators and Chair of the Education Council of the Canadian Dental Association, Chair of the Dental Deans Committee in Canada and many more. Currently he is President of the Australasian Council of Dental Schools. In 2012 Prof de Vries was honoured with the Gies Award in Dental Education.

A/Professor Max GuazzatoPhD, DDS, DClin Dent (Pros), FRACDS, MRACDS (Pros), DTA/Prof. Max Guazzato grew up in Milan, Italy where he completed a Dental Technician diploma and graduated from the University of Milan with a Bachelor Degree in Dentistry with first class Honours and his postgraduate training in Oral Surgery. A/Prof. Guazzato completed a PhD at Sydney University in the field of Zirconia and dental ceramics. He then completed a three-year clinical doctorate in Prosthodontics and is registered as a specialist Prosthodontist. A/Prof. Guazzato also has a fellowship by examination and is a prosthodontic special field member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. A/Prof. Guazzato has been lecturing and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects at the University of Sydney since 2001 and is a lecturer internationally in the topics of prosthodontics, dental ceramic and dental implants. His current fields of research are: surface treatment of dental ceramics; tissue-implant interface and clinical outcomes of all-ceramic materials. A/Prof Guazzato has published two books and 35 peer-reviewed articles in dental and medical scientific journals. A/Prof Guazzato works in a specialist private practice in Pyrmont (Sydney). His clinical expertise covers all facets of oral rehabilitation from bone grafting and implant placement, to fixed/removable Prosthodontics and laboratory procedures.

Dr Ian BillsBDS, FRACDS, Dip Clin Hyp, FPFADr Ian Bills graduated from The University of Adelaide in 1977 and obtained his FRACDS by examination in 1980. He has worked in Adelaide in general private practice since that time. Dr Bills has been involved in treating patients using dental implants for 25 years and has conducted training courses and lectured on the topic in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the USA and Canada. His particular interest is the use of Guided surgery. Dr Bills is a member of the Australian Osseointegration Society and the American Academy of Osseointegration; a visiting Clinical Lecturer to the University of Adelaide, a Senior Clinical Associate (Periodontics) at the University of Sydney and is a visiting staff member of the Brånemark Osseointegration Centre in Perth. He has been using E4D for the past 3 years and has found it to be very useful in the management of both large and small cases.

Dr Michael Chan BDSc (WA) GradCertDent (Adel)Michael operates a full time general private practice in Perth, with an emphasis on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has been an E4D user since 2008 – amongst the first in Australia. He has a keen interest in CAD/CAM dentistry and all-ceramic restorations. Michael is committed to the highest standards of dental care and ongoing continuing education. He is a member of numerous professional organisations. He has previously taught at an undergraduate level at the Oral Health Centre of WA. Michael received his undergraduate degree from the University of Western Australia in 2002, and further completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Dentistry at the University of Adelaide in 2011.

Mr Mark ChurchillMark established Churchill Financial Services in 2010. Mark knew this was a niche market and a limited number of Brokers and Financiers who truly understood the industry and could assist the clients within this industry. Mark has been an established financier in the Healthcare market for over 6 years. He has held both front line and senior management roles at National Australia Bank and Commonwealth Bank. Both Banks were in the start-up phase of Banking in the Healthcare Industry which Mark was heavily involved from inception.

Dr Chris Dimos BDSc (Melb)Chris graduated as a dentist from the University of Melbourne in 1986. He commenced general dental practice in Collins Street, Melbourne in 1989 where he continues to practice. Aside from the general preventative side of his practice, Chris has a strong interest in TOTAL DENTO-FACIAL AESTHETICS, from early inter-ceptive orthodontics through to advanced restorative - encompassing Orthodontics, Neuro-Muscular Dentistry, Advanced Restorative Dentistry, Implantology, and Dento-Facial Aesthetics. Chris is an Alumnus of the Las Vegas Institute (LVI) - Neuro-Muscular Dentistry and Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He is also a member of the Australian Osseointegration Society (AOS), Australian Central Association of Dentists (ACAD) & American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).Chris is currently a trainer & educator for E4D CAD/CAM System and Lecturer, trainer & Fellow of the Australasian Academy of Dento-facial Aesthetics (AADFA).

Dr Richard EilenbergBDS MSDr Eilenberg was accepted into the London School of Arts at the age of 15, but instead decided to pursue dentistry. He graduated from the University of Otago and was awarded the “Leask Silver Memorial Medal” for Conservative Dentistry. He then completed a Master of Science degree in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman in London. On his return, he was awarded NZ’s first “Advanced Certificate in Dentistry”. He is the ex-President and Diplomat of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry. Dr Eilenberg established the “NZ Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry” and developed a boutique private practice in Auckland, the “Cosmetic Dental Clinic”. Dr Eilenberg lectures internationally on restorative techniques. He has been using CAD-CAM technology for over 10 years and is a New Zealand E4D trainer.

Mr Glen Freeman VP International and Customer SupportGlen Freeman gained his engineering degree at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa before commencing work for De Beers, the global diamond giant exploring novel ways to process diamonds. He completed an MBA before moving to the USA and later joined D4D Technologies to lead their entry into the digital market place focusing on material development through CAD / CAM. He currently runs D4D’s material and digital services development along with responsibility for D4D’s International and customer support functions.

Dr Graeme Milicich BDSDr Milicich lives in Hamilton, New Zealand. He lectures internationally in the fields of minimal intervention, caries risk assessment and management, minimal intervention restorative techniques, on the physics, and clinical applications of hard-soft tissue lasers, and E4D CADCAM technology.He is a Fellow, Diplomate and founding board member of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (WCMID). He is also a Fellow, Master and board member of the World Clinical Laser Institute, and a founding Board member and honorary lifetime member of the NZ Institute of Minimal Intervention Dentistry. He is the recipient of both the WCMID Clinician of the Year Award, and the WCMID Clinical Research Award. He is also a trainer and educator for the E4D CAD/CAM system.

Dr Linda QuachBDS (Hons), PGDip Dental ImplantologyDr. Linda Quach graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with honours. She continued formal studies with a Post Graduate Diploma of Dental Implantology at Charles Sturt University. Linda hosted a number of academic scholarships, medals and prizes whilst at University and was awarded the University of Sydney Prize in Operative Dentistry, Clinical Periodontics, Clinical Oral Surgery, Orthodontics and the Prosthodontic society scholarship for research in the field of Zirconia and ceramics.

Linda’s professional interests are in general dentistry and in particular diagnosis & treatment planning, direct composite and indirect ceramic restorations and CAD-CAM technology. She has been an E4D user for a number of years and found that it has become an important armamentarium in practice.

Mr Jim RuddyIvoclar Vivadent Technical National SpecialistJim has over 16 years experience in the field of dental ceramics both lecturing and teaching across Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Jim was a trainer for three years in Germany and as part of his on-going professional development he is certified every six months though the Ivoclar Vivadent ‘Train The Trainer’ (TTT) program in Schaan, Liechtenstein. Jim works closely with ceramists and consults with some of Australia’s leading practitioners regarding materials and techniques.

Dr Michael SernikDr Michael Sernik is a partner in Prime Practice, Dentist Job Search and Primespeak.com. He is the creator of the Primespeak Program and has lectured extensively in Australasia, North America, and Europe. He has owned 5 practices in the UK and Australia and together with his experience in dental consultancies

Dr Lan Tran BDSc (QLD)Dr Tran Graduated from The University of Queensland in 1995. She specialises in cosmetic dentistry with Composite Resin Veneers a speciality and is often a Guest Lecturer in Australia & overseas in fields of Community Health & Cosmetic Dentistry and has been invited to American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists Scientific Meeting. Lan runs a successful family orientated practice in Brisbane.

Lan is a Past member of Listerine Preventive Dentistry Forum and is Involved heavily in community health projects and research projects.

One of her other main interests is treating Temperomandibular Dysfunction and Dental Implants and she has passed all certification levels of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID).

Dr Jerry Lim

BDS(Singapore), FRACDS(Australia) FICDJerry completed his undergraduate dental training in National University of Singapore in 1995. Following the completion of his internship at the National University Hospital in 1998, he obtained his Fellowship from The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2002. He was awarded Fellowship of the International College of Dentists in 2010 as well as Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and currently works as a partner in a group practice.

Jerry has a special interest in the field of Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry. He is also trained in Neuromuscular and Aesthetic Dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Internationally, Jerry is also in a research group under Occlusion Connections.
