JACK TIMBER’S FANTASY PRIMER

There are few things in fantasy football that are automatic. Like how Christian McCaffery is the undisputed #1 overall pick. If you’re taking someone else in that spot, the only justification would be homer bias. Or if you’re taking any kicker before the last round it better be Justin Tucker. But no matter your skill level or experience, most of the time you can’t go wrong with the best player available, especially if they’re in a position of need.

In terms of basic positional tiers, anyone can find those by simply looking at your draft platform’s player rankings. What this primer should provide you is some strategic, insider insight on players to target that have a chance to make a tangible impact on your roster, beyond just the top 10 at every position. If your primary concern is whether to draft Zeke or Saquon #2 overall, my answer would be two-fold. A. The players are fairly comparable, both will provide solid production bearing any injuries. B. If you’re struggling with that dilemma, the later round decisions are going to give you fits.

This is by no means law, as everything in fantasy football is fairly subjective and there is inherent luck with every season. But as the 7-time reigning champion of the Twin Peaks Fantasy League, you can trust that this primer will put you in a position to succeed on draft day.
