CHECKING AND TESTING AN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
COURSE MATERIALSApplicants are required to obtain the following resource which is available for purchase at both the Joondalup and Jandakot Campuses:

This course is designed to provide electrical tradespersons with information on current procedures for Earth Fault Loop Impedance Testing and to update their skills in the use of various types of testers.
AS/NZS 3000 now requires electrical tradespersons to be familiar with the process of Earth Fault Loop Impedance testing.
Participants will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the operation of Loop Impedance Testers in accordance with AS/NZS Standards and be able to carry out an Earth Fault Loop Impedance test of an installation.

COURSE DURATION4 hours.
COURSE REQUIREMENTSPersons enrolling in this course must be either an apprentice Electrotechnology Electrician holding a current C Grade Licence or qualified electrical worker holding a current Unrestricted Electricians Licence.
*Evidence of either of the above must be presented in order to confirm your enrolment on this course*
Fully enclosed shoes must be worn at all times in CET buildings.
Safety boots/shoes must be worn when working in the workshop.
