PRAYER
Gracious God, we thank you for the promise of peace, and we
know that because of Christ, peace is possible. We pray today
for the nations of the world, that we could find a way to live
together in peace. We pray for our brothers and sisters
everywhere, that we could become more forgiving, more
understanding, and more loving to one another. Flood our
hearts with the light of peace today so that we might take that
light and spread your love to the whole world. Amen.

shine before others that they may know the love of God.
P: We go from this place of celebration to a world that needs to
know God’s Hope and Peace.
L: May God’s light shine through you in the world. AMEN.

YSR BRASS BAND & CRESTVIEW ALUMNI CHOIR
On Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 7:00 pm, the YSR Brass Band will perform their annual A Christmas Spectacular under the direction of Eric Bable. This year the Crestview Music Association Choral Alumni will be joining the ensemble, featuring in the ensemble’s rendition of the Trans Siberian Orchestra’s A Star to Follow. This will be the first time the choral alumni will be singing together in two years. Admission is free, donations will be accepted.
All proceeds will go toward the performing arts programs at Crestview.
STAMPS FOR MISSIONS
This January we will again be sending stamps to World Gospel Mission. Please save your USED Christmas stamps and any other unusual stamps for our mission project to the American Indian Field. Stamps need to be complete. Just leave them on the envelope paper, with a 1/4 to 1/8 inch border around the stamp (or as close to 1/4 inch as possible). We will send a package of stamps in late January. You may place your stamps in the box at the church in the upper hallway by the Mission Collection Center. They can also use the non-cancelled stamps that you receive in the mail with donation requests. If you have any questions, see Sue Kariher.
