Eastend of Shutterflat Farm and Eastend Wee Hoose are situated in pretty rolling countryside and farmland just to the east of the Ayrshire commuter town of Beith. The houses enjoy a private and prominent position from where there are first class aspects across surrounding countryside.

The nearby Garnock River offers good fishing where it is possible, by permit, to fish for brown trout, sea trout and salmon. The river has runs of salmon at the back end. There are a number of hill lochs and commercial fisheries which offer good sport.
