Eastertide! He Is Risen!
This is the time of the year when the birds sing, the flowers bloom and the trees leaf out. This is the time of new birth or of new beginnings. There are two ways of looking at new beginnings. The first would be with excitement like the child who is try-ing something for the first time. The other could be with apprehension or the fear of something differ-ent. These thoughts could apply to the situation we face at All Saints’. We will be in a different scenario but that could be a good thing. Many times I find that my attitude toward change has a lot to do with how it turns out and if I hold fast to a positive attitude things are better than if I hold to a negative attitude. I hope each of you will continue to fulfill the roles you've always played. Remember that Paul said in Second Corinthians, “Ye are the body and every part of the body is necessary to have a whole body. If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts suffer with it; if one part is praised, all the other parts share in its happiness. Come share with your brothers and sisters in the joys of the season. Cheer each other with your presence at the Lord's table. Halleluia! The Lord is risen indeed! Your servant, Sarah Gose, Sr. Warden

Pastoral Care covers a multitude of situations and we offer a number of services. We minister to the sick - in the hospital, nursing home, or at their own home, the dying and their families, those celebrating an event of any kind in their lives, those in a disaster situation, those in need of temporary assistance, and the list goes on. We offer a Casserole Committee, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Flower Delivery Ministry, Card Ministry, and Lay Eucharistic Visitors who take communion to those who can't make it to church. If you should find yourself, or know of someone who is in need of any of these services, please call me, Gigi Sharp, or Jim Sharp, or the church office, and we will be sure that the appropriate need is met. Also, if you know of a need that is not being addressed, and needs to be, please let us know; we may be unaware of the situation - we do want to make sure that everyone is served who has a need. Also, to help further the Pastoral needs, I just wanted to be sure that everyone knows that the loose plate offering on the second Sunday of the month, goes to the Deacon's Discretionary Fund. The loose offering on this Sunday goes into a fund that helps to pay for emergencies that may arise for any parishioner, or a need that may need to be addressed. Please remember this worthy cause in our parish. If you need any of the above mentioned services or know someone that does, you can call us at any time - our numbers are listed below. Louise Joyce 865-674-7572 865-765-5670 Gigi Sharp 865-805-2568 Jim Sharp 865-805-9149

To our All Saints’ Family:
A thank you seems so inadequate to express my gratitude to you all for your many kindnesses to
me and Kirk’s family during the past difficult and sad weeks.
For those of you who brought food to the house to nourish our bodies and to the memorial ser-
vice reception to celebrate his life
For those who visited him in the hospital and at home to say your goodbyes and express your
thanks for the service he had given to the church over the years, and for the friendships you
had shared
For those who called or sent cards and notes of encouragement to both of us to help us get
through
For those who lifted him up in your prayers and sent your thoughts to give us strength
For those who served during the memorial service to provide the wonderful music, read the
scriptures, serve the Eucharist elements, design the beautiful flower arrangements, prepare the
altar, direct the attendees, prepare the service booklet
For those who planned, organized, served and cleaned up after the reception
For those whose activity I’m not aware of but who helped to make some aspect of this celebra-
tion happen
For those who have shared your Kirk stories with us, helping us to realize what a unique per-
son he was and how he had touched so many lives
For those who have given memorial donations in his name
For those of you who continue to keep Kirk in your hearts and who keep me and his family in
your thoughts and prayers that we will be able to remember him with joy and thankfulness
instead of sorrow and tears.
I and the entire family are most grateful for your friendship
and support.
Thank you,
Carolyn Wyss

The Flower Chart is on a stand in the Parish Hall.
Please take a moment to sign your name in the
blank space for the Sunday(s) of your choice in
2015. Our altar and chapel flowers are provided by
you the parish faithful. This is a "money in - money
out" item in the budget. My wish is to have a month-
ly allowance in the budget for this ministry in the fu-
ture. During Lent bare branches will remind us that
Spring is near.
All outside and inside locks
have now been changed.
Come by the office to get new key if you have a
church responsibility
that requires one.

THANK YOU
My family and I would like to take this time to thank our All Saints' parish family for all their
love and support following the recent death of my Dad, Charlie Harrison. The kind words, ex-
pressions of sympathy, positive thoughts and feelings, and beautiful cards have been appreciat-
ed more than you know. My Dad loved his visits to All Saints', and always felt at home in our
church when he was here. We are truly blessed with the friendship and family love we feel from
all of you on a daily basis, and are grateful to have you in our lives.
Thank you again for everything you mean to all of us.
Mark, Louise, Matthew, and Kate Joyce,
and Lauren and Bryant Opeil
