To have a balanced diet, you should eat food from each food group everyday.

everything to have enough energy to play or study.

Eating the right amount of each food group gives you a balanced diet.

WHY DO WE EAT?

Cereals, pulses and sugars give us a lot of energy.

Milk and other dairy products give us calcium and so that our bones and teeth grow strong.

Fruits and vegetables contain vitamins that keep us healthy.

Meat, eggs and fish help us to grow.
