Information about our trip to EcuadorTRANSCRIPT
God’s call is often very clear. Sometimes there are gray areas in which we find ourselves wrestling with
what we feel He’s asking of us. This trip to Ecuador is one of those moments in our lives.
Traveling the world has always been one of my very favorite passions. I have been on numerous trips
throughout North America and beyond. Eric however has not been on any mission trips internationally.
When the opportunity to go to Ecuador was brought up, I immediately began praying about our family
participating. There wasn’t an audible voice from the Lord, there was a gentle leading . Sometimes
when the voice isn’t audible it’s easy to wonder if this is the right decision. Signing up seemed like what
we should do, so we took the plunge and signed our names on the dotted lines.
This trip in itself was appealing not only because we would be sharing the gospel with many in Ecuador,
but because it is a family friendly trip. This is an opportunity to take Nash and experience God’s hand
over each of us during our time in Ecuador. This trip will not only focus on evangelism, but it will offer
a medical/handyman component as well. This is very fitting for our family. Eric’s definite gift is
helps and this will be an opportunity to share his passion with those around him. I am so excited to see
God use him wholly and fully while we’re in Ecuador!
e3 World is vast and requires specific initiatives designed to impact communities at their point of need.
Ministering to physical and other needs opens the doors for spiritual conversation, transformation and
renewal to take place.
This is the desire that e3 has planned for the trip to Ecuador this summer. It is a medical mission. We
will be utilizing opportunities that arise while meeting the needs people have first hand and use those
opportunities to share the gospel with them. Being the hands and feet of Jesus in real, raw ways — who
could ask for more?
God asked us to go — all three of us, so we’re going. This requires us to ask of others. We need help fi-
nancially to make this trip happen. Not only are we in need of funds, but we will need to be showered in
prayer as well. This team consists of roughly 40 people who are desiring to see God move mightily. We
will all need your prayers!
Eric and I each need $2,500 and to cover flight insurance for Nash we will need approximately $300.
This totals $5, 300 — we are fully aware that this is a large sum of money,
but we’re trusting the Lord to open the doors for this funding to be supplied.
Please pray about your participation alongside our family. Asking for help is
often hard and can be discouraging; but we’re asking — Can you partner
with us?
