How do I get to online class?● Check your school email account and accept your invites from all your
teachers○ Don’t know your class schedule? Go to Student Portal to see! Will be
updated on September 1st.
● Join your classrooms using the Google Invite sent from your teachers or by going to Google Classroom and entering in the course code
● Your first class will be your advisory class (every Tuesday and Friday) where you’ll learn more about the flow of the day and the week AND get to know your classmates!

Weekly Bell Schedule
Schedule Changes🗹 Schedule changes happen during the first 4 days of school only (September 8-11).
🗹 Online learning made it necessary to make some changes to classes that would be hard to do virtually = Ceramics is now Abstraction (try it, you may like it!)
🗹 Changes to schedules are being accepted through a google form which will be on the main Edison page, as well as the main page for Counseling (no emails or phone calls please).
🗹 A list of elective courses by period will also be listed by the schedule change link.
🗹 If you are MISSING a period, please email your counselor.
How does Advisory work in Online Learning?● Students will begin their school day on Tuesday and Friday with
advisory● On Tuesday, Sept. 8th (Day 1!!), teachers will explicitly review
schedules with students● Most days, advisory will start with community building activities● Later in the quarter/year - the 90-minute block will allow time for
students to check in with other teachers● Advisory will also provide time for 10th-grade students to work on
tasks of their personal project.● Students receive CR or NC for advisory
● Attendance will be taken on the days that class is in session
● If your child is errantly marked absent, teachers can fix it up to 5 business days after the class
● Please email your child’s teacher if you have questions about their attendance. Contact information is available on teacher websites, Google Classroom, and through the Parent Portal
● If a student misses a class, they will be able to access the content and materials, including watching video of the missed class(es) and will still be able to contact their teacher and ask questions after school.

You’ll participate in career exploration and college searches. You’ll also have the chance to learn how to create a resume, complete college and job applications
