General Management Plan

The first stop on the virtual tour is the General Management Plan station.

Members of the planning team helped answer questions about the General Management Plan-what is it, why is it important, how long is the process, and how can the public can get involved. E X P E R I E N C E Y O U R A M E R I C A

National Park Service

The National Park Service preserves and protects sites of natural, cultural and historic importance. These sites include seashores, monuments, parks, trails, battlefields, and more!

Participants at this station talked to a park ranger and learned what it means to be part of the National Park System.

Superintendent and Commission Members

At this station, Superintendent Darren Boch, as well as members of the Federal Advisory Commission helped answer questions relating to the park’s future.
