A building from the early 20th Century is restored and adapted into a nursing home. The design carefully integrates the original building structure with a new construction that satisfies the needs of seniors.1

Complejo de uso mixto de siete niveles para estudiantes. El primer nivel es de uso comercial. El segundo nivel incluye las áreas comunes para los residentes. Del tercer nivel en adelante se encuentras los departamentos con dos tipos de distribución.

A seven-story building in a mixed-use complex for students. The first level is for commercial use. The second level is for the common areas for the residents. In the third level and above are the apartments with two types of floor plans.

The museum and school of arts includes outdoor sculptural gardens. This intervention design shows

the contrast between time, style, textures, and colors. A space for art, recreation, and education.

One of the primary intentions of this Green Corridor Study was to evaluate the area to conclude how many properties were already doing “green” efforts and therefore to encourage the rest to do the same or even more. Under this study four goals were developed in relationship with environmental, transportation, tourism and education, and economic development aspects.

6Uno de los principales objetivos de este estudio es evaluar el área para saber cuáles propiedades ya están haciendo esfuerzos “verdes”, para así, motivar al resto a hacer lo mismo o inclusive un mayor esfuerzo. Dentro de este estudio se han desarrollado cuatro objetivos en relación con el medio ambiente, transporte, turismo y educación, y los aspectos de desarrollo económico.

Revive is a transformative urban development that will enrich the social, economic and environmental vitality of the historic Sulphur Dell neighborhood. Responding to the trends of a rapidly growing downtown, Revive pushes the envelope of development by meeting the needs of increased density while incorporating distinctive characteristics that promote community health and environmental responsibility. Revive fosters Nashville’s reputation as a progressive, productive, and livable city without losing sense of place. Capitalizing on this reputation, Revive becomes the northern hub for social, active, office and environmentalhappenings downtown.

Revive es un desarrollo de transformación urbanística que va a enriquecer la vitalidad social, económica y ambiental del barrio histórico Sulphur Dell. En respuesta a las tendencias de un centro de rápido crecimiento, Revive impulsa el desarrollo para mayor densidad, al mismo tiempo incorpora características distintivas que promueven la salud de la comunidad y la responsabilidad por el medio ambiente. Revive promueve a Nashville como una ciudad progresista, productiva y habitable sin perder identidad. Revive se convierte en el eje norte para el desarrollo social, activo, laboral y el consciente de medio ambiente.
