HUNGER DILEMMA

You lost your job and you’ve spent all of your money this month.

You’ve spent the day looking for jobs and now you are hungry as you didn’t manage your money properly.

You’ve tried to get some food from the soup kitchen but they were closed.

You walk down the road and notice that a bakery is just about to shut.

You are really hungry.

You notice that the baker has a loaf of bread left and is about to close for the night.

The baker goes out of the shop to clean the kitchen.

Do you steal the bread from the shop?

Do you wait by the bins and hope he throws it out?

Do you ask the baker for the bread?

You see that the baker has gone to the kitchen.

You realise that this is your only opportunity.

You run in and grab the bread. As you are running down the street, you decide to eat the bread and realise that it’s plastic.

You are now so hungry from running away from the bakery.

You pass two people walking towards the bakery who are deep in conversation about the kind baker who offers left over bread free to anyone who asks.

If only you’d asked.

You wait by the bins and you see the baker close the shop and get in his car.

You are still hungry and realise that he didn’t throw the bread out.

You see two people walk away from the bakery eating bread and hear that the kind baker had given them leftover bread for free.

If only you’d asked…

You decide that you cannot wait for the bins, so you ask the baker for the bread.

He tells you that the bread is a plastic display bread, but he has left over bread out the back.

The baker gets the bread for you and then you notice a job advertisement on the counter.

You ask the baker about the job and he offers it to you.

You are now no longer jobless or hungry.

If you don’t ask you don’t get!
