Fire and EMS Offering

FireRescue1 Academy includes the world’s largest library of online fire and EMS training content with nearly 350 courses and 150 videos that can be delivered during in-service, field training or in a self-paced format to individual personnel or groups. The system is available on-demand at any time from any internet enabled computer tablet, or mobile device. All EMS courses are approved for credit by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) and fire courses follow and meet NFPA standards.

• EVOC: Emergency Vehicle Operator Course Series – 5-part video series that teaches first responders to safely operate emergency vehicles

• EMS1.com Series – 11 full-length courses and 20 video-based courses in a microlearning format, approved for CAPCE credit

• Reality Training - more than 50 short videos, giving Chief Rob Wylie’s perspective on a breadth of firefighter topics and current events

• Medic Monthly – Nearly 100 courses totaling 100 CEU approved by CAPCE; appropriate for first responders, EMT’s and Paramedics

• OSHA & Compliance – More than a dozen courses, including Sexual Harassment, Bloodborne Pathogens and HIPAA for First Responders

• Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Awareness and Operations Levels - 15 courses covering NFPA 472, Standards for Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Incidents.

• EMT Interactive – 41 courses and over 30 CEUs available, CAPCE approved

• Fire Service Instructor – 16 courses covering the NFPA 1041, Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications.

• Paramedic Interactive – 52 courses and over 100 hours of CEU, CAPCE approved

• Health Care Provider CPR – covers the didactic portion for recertification; approved for 3 CEU

• eACLS – Case-based training materials designed to support the didactic portion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) recertification, approved for 8 CEU
