On 27 t h Jan 2014, Ministry of Minority Aff airs vide Notifi cation no S.O. 267 (E), had under section 2 (c) of the National Commission for Minorities Act 1992 notifi ed the Jain Community as a Minority Community in addition to the 5 communities already notifi ed as minorities viz Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Parsis

This scheme will enable to be eligible for employment to the posts with M.Phil and Ph.D as pre-requisites, including the posts of lecturers in various academic institutions

OBJECTIVE• To provide integrated 5 yrs fellowships in the form of

financial assistance to students to pursue higher studies such as M. Phil and Ph.D.

• The Fellowship will cover all Universities/Institutions recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
