Welcome to MindTap for the Shelly Cashman Series Collection. This guide will help you
navigate the unique activities that are included in the MindTap, which will better enable you
to include the exercises in your curriculum. While the content included in this MindTap is
specific to the discipline and course, the functionality will act the same as you move from
product to product.
For additional resources on our MindTap platform, please click HERE. At this site, you will find
User Guides, Self-Training Videos, Training Webinars, and Podcasts. We also include
Resources that are specific to your campus’s LMS, should additional information be needed.
Student versions of the same resources are located HERE. This link can be shared with your

Learning Path Introductory video that shows students the MindTap interface and basic navigation tools, and also provides information specific to a MindTap Computing course.
Students who watch the video will increase their efficiency in moving through the learning path and enhance their understanding of the various SAM activities associated with the course and how to complete them.

Chapter Readings (MindTap Reader)
Every Chapter, Learning Path
This is the chapter content. The Readings in each chapter consist of computer concepts content and/or step-by-step computer applications content in a real-world example that guides students through the topics and objectives covered in the chapter. Additional end-of-chapter assignments to help reinforce comprehension. There are also valuable study tools like highlighting, note taking, dictionary, flashcards, ReadSpeaker, and more.
The MindTap is organized into chapters, with additional Study Center material and a Getting Started with MindTap introductory video. Students learn essential computer concepts and skills and apply them in real-world scenarios.

Learning Path A Sway is a Microsoft tool that allows students to combine text, videos, and social media in a website to be shared and displayed on any device.
Students who view the Sways learn about Microsoft productivity tools, such as OneNote, while also learning how to use Sways to present information.
