EFFECTIVE PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION UNDER
MALAYSIAN LAWS Employers are bound under Malaysian law to adhere to all terms stipulated in the contract of employment. Malaysian laws
provide guidelines on how remuneration should be paid and the benefits that should be provided to employees either in
cash or in kind. Laws also require that employers, apart from deducting their employees’ salaries, also make a contribution
together with the employees for purposes of SOCSO and EPF. Further, the law also requires employers to ensure that the
employees adhere to income tax rules. Failure to follow the laws correctly may result in heavy penalties. With this workshop,
employers will gain a better insight and understanding on payroll administration under Malaysian law so that they can better
abide by the laws and rules that come with payroll.
This two-day program to provide participants with a good understanding of payroll arrangement in accordance to Malaysia

(2003) from Universiti Malaya (UM). She is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) of the Financial Planning Association of
Malaysia (2002). The UM-Certified Business Coach (2010) is a Registered Financial Planner (RFP) of the Malaysian Financial
Planning Council (2006). Wendy is also a Certified Train the Trainer of the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB)
(2006) and a Certified Advance Human Resource Practitioner of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management
