Effetto Larsen started in 2007 from an idea
of Matteo Lanfranchi, founder and artistic
director of the company. We have centered
our work around human relationships as the
fundamental elements of the life of all of us.
To do so, we have developed a highly original
course of research, broadening our horizons
and opening up to art forms, disciplines,
places and people.
Our perspective and activities are in a
continuous evolution, nourishing our research
in the context of site-specific and participative
projects that we have created and developed
at an international level since 2013.
Since 2015 Matteo has been a part of the
European network In Situ, dedicated to art in
public space.

Our passage in this world leaves evident signs: objects, relationships,
images, memories. After/Dopo is a path, in which the audience can
leave intimate traces anonymously, creating a space to share and reflect
upon them. A participatory site-specific project which investigates our
relationship with the only possible certainty: the end of existence

Tracce proposes to investigate the relationship between environment
and identity, through an installation that is generated by the public
through the accumulation of signs and materials. We choose a location
in order to transform it into a space of activity, listening and reflection
on the relationship between the identity of the places and that of its
inhabitants. In line with our artistic practice, we create the conditions for
things to happen, giving the public an active role both in the performan-
ce and in the contribution of thought.

A site-specific project on emotional memories connected to places.
Starting from workshops and interviews we map an area on basis of the
emotional experience of those, who live in it. The final result consists of
installations, that take the shape of an emotional interface with a space
and as powerful tools of narrative and sharing.

A long-standing project based on the development of harmony within
groups of people. Its core is a workshop open to everyone, during
which the conditions created let collective intelligence emerge.
