Storm Sewer Installation
• Installation of new storm sewer infrastructure is required to accommodate
construction of Mount Pleasant Station
• To accommodate the on-going piling operation and minimize the disruption to
traffic, the work will be performed using a micro-tunneling methodology
• One launch shaft is required to send the tunnel boring machine (TBM) and
pipes, and one receiving shaft is required to extract the TBM
• Lane closures and pedestrian rerouting will be required
• Subject to permit approval, Taunton Road will be closed at Eglinton Ave E for
