The Elektro Kreutzpointner Group is one of the biggest SMEs inGermany specialising in electrical I&C and has sites in Bavaria,Saxony, Austria and Romania. It consists of legally independentcompanies with a uniform range of services and different regionaland national focuses.
Within the Group, clear management structures ensure flat hierarchies andshort decision-making channels. All project teams are assigned to fixedareas. These are run independently by technical managers, who in turnreport directly to management. Management provides them with clear strategies and targets as well as ongoing support through a central commercial project control system.

This allows us to offer all services relating to the construction and installati-on of large-scale electrotechnical photovoltaic plants in open spaces or onroofs. Services start with large-scale civil engineering and earthworks andthe excavation of cable trenches. They extend to the entire range of cab-ling work, from the construction of cable runs and cable pulling to cableconnections. We build and install "solar power plants" or wind farms thatare effectively ready to use, including safety technology and the grid connection.

5) The world's largest aluminium recycling centre inNachterstedt, Saxony-Anhalt: AEK provided allof the electrotechnical equipment for the newbuilding of US group Novelis from its Freibergsite. The contract included the planning, supplyand installation of electrical, I&C, data and safetytechnology.
6) At the new air traffic control building in the air-port grounds in Munich, our building technologyteam ensured a safe power supply as well asprovided general electrical engineering, switch-gear systems and process control technology.
7) At the GLOBALFOUNDRIES wafer productionplant in Dresden, AEK provided its full range ofelectrical engineering and installation services.8) AER installed an 18.5 MW biomass power
