    A young and hansom

Elf Ranger, by thename of Thaaron-aral(Common Translation= Vigilant Hunter)came upon the villageof Ulsbrook.

    As happened betweena man and woman,albeit an Elf andH u m a n , r o m a n c e

blossomed betweenSeelena and Thaaron-aral which lead toSee lena becomingexpectant with child.

Before the child was born however, an Elven messenger arrived bringing bad news toThaaron-aral. He took his leave of Seelena but bade her to wait for his return, as he hadneed to deal with an urgent matter back in the Forrests of Aerion which should not takelong.

    Thaaron-aral never returned.

Seelena gave birth to a male Half-Elf, which she gave the calling name of Elamros(Common Translation = The Hawk walking) and the kin name of Huntinghawk (to honorboth Thaaron-arals name and her own family name).

Thus in the year 790, the Half Elf Elamros Huntinghawk was born.

Seelena waited for five years for the return of Thaaron-aral but could find no news of herlost love. Feeling a great sadness, she moved on to the west to the village of Anwich, sothat the sight and sounds of the river Mingfalls that forms the boundary between the landsof Tyriba and the Forrests of Aerion would not remind her each day of the loss of her oneand only love.

Elamros was raised in the village of Anwich and in the wild forrests of the ChangroveForrest that surrounded it. His mother passed on her teaching of the Gozreh and taughtthe Half-Elf to appreciate nature.

But the influence of his Elven father, showed itself in the confident and roguish way thatElamros behaved through his upbringing and in the skill in which he could handle a bow.As he grew older he sort the company of questionable folk within the village that taughthim skills of stealth and cunning.

At the age of 23 Elamros joined up with a group of adventurers that were passing throughAnwich. The group comprised of an Elf Lite Ranger, Elf Trainee Fighter, Elf Inferior Clericand a Halfling Lesser Sorcerer. Elamros bid his mother farewell and took his leave as aTenderfoot Rogue.

The group took up numerous adventures in and around the north lands of the kingdom.

After one year, having learned many new skills and acquired many new goods, Elamrosand his group returned to Anwich so that he may bring news of his adventures to hisbeloved mother and to bestow some of his new found wealth upon her.

Tragically his mother lay sick in her bed, near death. Before her passing she bade Elamrosto swear that he would track down and discover what had befell his father, to learn of hisElvish roots and to reclaim his true Elvish family name. Elamros swore to his dying mother, that someday he would either stand before his father or find what tragedy had kept himfrom returning to his mother.

The only clue is that the messengers name, an Elf was Casmil-sar (Common Translation= Sworn to travel and Speak) and that he came from somewhere in the Forrests of Aerion.

Not knowing where to start, Elamros decided to continue his travels with his group until hefelt more confident in his abilities.

    ******

The group left Anwich and headed south, looking for more adventures, which they found.

A year later, Elamros and his group came across a patrol of 45 Goblins, which weretraveling through the trees of Changrove Forrest. The group of adventurers followed theGoblins, unobserved, to see what threat this group posed.

They followed the group for two days, as they travelled south, into the wooded hills of theHaven Hills that lead to Winterhaven.

The group of Goblins then split into two groups, 15 Goblins took up an ambush positionalong the north road between Winterhaven and Anwich and the rest of the 30 Goblinscontinued south.

Elamros and his group knew that any travelers coming along the north road would notstand a chance against this Goblin ambush. They attacked the goblins and easilydispatched the smaller group.

Fearing what the larger group of Goblins would do they then tracked the large group ofGoblins and caught up with them, seeing them in the distance as they appeared to beentering a ruined stone keep within a large clearing, set atop a high point in the land.

Elamros and his group continued forward towards the keep but as the approached all thegroup except Elamros could not approach the keep. The Halfling Sorcerer of the groupdetermined that some form of magic was protecting it and until he could work out a way to

bypass it, none of them except Elamros - who appeared to be immune to the effect - couldpass.

The group decided to camp for the night whilst Elamros would scout ahead to the keepand see what was happening. The Halfling Sorcerer passed over two Potions ofDarkvision to Elamros. Taking these, and pulling the hood of his Cloak of Elvenkind upover his head, Elamros headed towards the keep and into a dark stairway.

Using a Potion of Darkvision, Elamros snuck into the dark corridors that lay behind theruined keep. He passed unobserved the Goblin inhabitants and took note of any secretdoors, traps or dangers by carving into the stone floor small Elvish marks that would allow

him and his party to avoid danger once the rest of the party could gain entry.

Having explored a considerable portion of the dark corridors Elamros exited the ruinedkeep and returned to the camp of his companions, where he discovered a tragic turn ofevents.

Whilst Elamros had been inside the dark corridors, two large Grizzly Bears had comeacross the resting adventurers at the camp and had attacked. The group of adventurers

had fought bravely and had managed to kill one bear and wound the other butunfortunately it was not enough, as each of the group, one by one fell dead to the beasts.

After grieving, Elamros procured as much equipment from his fallen comrades as he coulduse, including a large quantity of the fine and rare Elvish arrows from the dead Elf Rangerof the group. He then buried the bodies in the ground, saying a prayer to Gozreh.

Elamros spent that night, cold and alone in the camp site deciding what to do.

    ******

The following day, still unsure what to do now, Elamros saw a group approach the ruinedkeep: a beautiful Human female dressed in the Cleric robes of Cayden Caliean, a Humanmale dress in the robes of a Monk of Irori, a formidable Dwarf male in fine chain mailcarrying a battleaxe, a Gnome male dressed in black leather armour carrying a black bow,a Gnome male dressed in brown leather armour and a Gnome female dress in robes. Ared hawk flew above them circling before coming to rest on the arm of the Gnome female.

The group approached the ruined keep and entered the dark stairway, somehow notaffected by the magical protection.

Intrigued, Elamros decided to follow this group to see what would follow and whether thisgroup worked for good or ill.

Elamros followed this group around unobserved and for the first day did not interfere butsimply watched. The more Elamros watched, the more he was impressed with not only theskill of the group but he was sure they were here for a good cause. He watched themexpertly dispatch all the goblins in the upper corridors of the dungeon keep but also sawthat they took pity on a Goblin prisoner, freeing the creature and letting it stay with them.

He watched them camp overnight, sleeping in one of the rooms of dungeon keep. Elamrosdecided to help this group. For the next day, he again followed them unobserved but thistime he took advantage of his stealth and used his bow to dispatch foes that the groupfaced.

He watched the group face the cold Zombies in the lower levels and saw how the divine

powers of the female Cleric turned them all to dust.

He watched the group face the relentless waves of skeletons that kept attacking them untilthey somehow stopped the skeletal threat by flooding the area in a holy silver light.

He watched the tragedy unfold of the Gnome male dressed in brown leather, dying in anaccident as several vials of Alchemy Fire exploded upon his person. He watched thesorrow and despair of the female Gnome crying at the burnt carcass of the Gnome male.So touched was Elamros by this display of grief, that whilst the party moved on to deal withanother threat, he moved to the burnt body and placed a metal token of Gozreh upon the

    body, saying a silent prayer.

He watched the group lay their fallen comrade upon an altar, covering him in a thick clothand standing together as the female Cleric uttered prayers.

He watched this and more. Finally he came to a decision, this group was a worthy groupand he would offer his aid to join.

Whilst the party was attacked by a large group of giant rats in wide cavern area, Elamrosjoined the battle, firing off arrow after arrow to kill the foul creatures.

Once the battle was over the group turned to the stairs that Elamros stood upon. The Half-Elf Tenderfoot Rogue, removed the hood of his Cloak Of Elvenkind and stood facing thegroup.

And that was the end of the last play session.
