With increasing regulatory complexity around building construction standards, it’s important to team with an expert who understands these issues. CH Reynolds is a CALCTP-AT Certified Contractor as well as an active NECA member.

The project encompassed a 10,000 sq. ft. expansion to an existing data center, which required extensive upgrading of the existing electrical distribution including a 1.5 MEG and 2 MEG generators, 3 ATSs, 3 UPSs with paralleling gear, 8 PDUs, miscellaneous transformers and 60 sub-panels. Extensive feeder distribution from 200A to 3000A was installed; feeders and connections to a new chiller, VFDs, and other HVAC equipment was provided; provisions for load bank testing was installed; and new lighting and related data center was set for wiring.

Cisco Systems Building 20 Data Center

The Santa Clara Street project, Sensing You, includes a mural covering the columns and “underside” of the overpass as well as LED lighting elements. The project also includes sensors that cause the artwork to react based on the volume of pedestrian traffic. What’s more, in partnership with Google’s Niantic Lab augmented reality game Ingress, game participants will be able to interact with the artwork on a personal basis.

CH Reynolds Electrical Construction division is responsible for the electrical design and installation of the LED lighting.

Sensing You - City of San Jose

This project involved converting existing administrative spaces into a new surgery wing. CH Reynolds was retained to provide all electrical requirements on this project. This was a Design/Build undertaking that required us to account for Operating Rooms, the Patient Recovery area, waiting/hospitality spaces and Nurse Stations. CH Reynolds provided all required levels of expertise needed to deliver this project within the customer’s expectations. As always, CH Reynolds delivered a product that was on-time and in budget.
