ELISEO H. ZUBIRI | ARTIST STATEMENT

Argentinian director, artist and photographer Eliseo H. Zubiri utilizes experimental work to find new ways of exploring digital art and narrative. In combining symbolism with surreal elements of nature, his images present the viewer with austere and unusual scenes of contemplation and uncertainty. Zubiri’s commitment to poetic and naturalistic style has defined his art practice with a focal attention towards a strong emotional core.

Zubiri's works respond to his internal need to document his vision of life and after-life, and conflicts with identity in moments of surreal environmental scenes. In breaking with the classical scheme, he searches to locate other ways of association be-tween the objects inside the frame, establishing an active connection with the viewer.
