Energy, water and waste audits in HDB households are performed by volunteers in order to identify areas forimprovement. The theme forthis time was “Waste”. A healthy turnout of 20 students from ITE College West and 15 volunteers from the RC volunteered to go door-to-door to conduct the audits. Most of the students had already taken part in the previous audits. This is helpful in building up a relationship between students and residents. The RC volunteers participated in a short training session, before the audit starts.
