"What SPECIFIC transportation problem would you want improved?"

1) Roadways2) Congestion in Crestview3) Roadway construction should be finished in a timely manner. Roadwork by airport almost caused an accident 4) Bus Service for Pensacola Beach during the week. 5) Sidewalks and beach access walkways across Santa Rosa Blvd. 6) Check with state of Oregon ‐ huge green approach to transit.7) Make traffic lights more in tune with each other.8) Left turn or double left turn at Beal and Carmel.9) Fix pot holes.10) More public transportation.11) 98 West form Airport Rd to Destin bridge.12) Better markings on roadways, especially turn lanes.13) Check the time ‐ Some signals, lights are on when traffic isn't coming out.14) Get a transportation system up and running between Pensacola, Ft. Walton Beach, Destin, and Panama City 15) The idea to add hotels. Parking garages to downtown FWB will only increase the congestion in the area. 16) Increase amount of sidewalks in neighborhoods.17) Flooding problems on Santa Rosa Blvd.18) Sidewalks in downtown neighborhoods.19) I think there should be some kind of sensor for the traffic lights ‐ the lights seem to take forever even when there is no car in sight. Brooks Bridge is so congested. Hwy 98!20) Too much traffic in Destin.21) Hwy 98 is very congested.22) Fi th l f MBB t T t Fi US98 Fix potholes from   to Target. Fix US98.23) More bike lanes.24) I think Okaloosa Transportation doe s a great job and serves a very important service for our area. My brother used the service while he was alive and I am very appreciative. Thank you!25) Would like to see more public transport, more stops, and reasonable fares. 26) Less traffic signals and improve roadways.27) Reset signals, some are too slow.28) More sidewalks. Bypass around Destin on US98.29) Time traffic signals by the time of day.30) Toll Bridges?31) Less lights.32) Congestion is a big problem. Don't know how to fix this. Sidewalks should be a must in every city. Bike lanes need to the safe,  too many hits on bikes. 33) The gasoline, because it does something wrong with the environment. 34) Bike lanes on Hwy 9835) Paint bike lanes down on the road in our neighborhood.36) Repave roadways so people will be safe on their bikes.37) Wider bike lanes and safety marketing for cyclists. 38) Widen the bike lanes so it would be safer. 39) We need pedestrian friendly transportation solutions. 40) Educate bikers that they need to share road with motorized vehicles.

41) The traffic signals.42) Bus routes need to be tweaked. People can walk to where they go faster than riding a bus. No transportation on weekends. Also, stopping at 7 limits when people can work.43) Larger bike lanes so people would use them.44) Bike lanes on major roadways.45) No problems once tourists leave. Grateful for the tourists when they are here. 46) Buses need to start earlier and end later. Transportation on weekends and should run more often so people don't have to walk to where they go and get there before the bus does. 47) Easier access to transportation for underprivileged families/those in need. Would like accessibility to bus 48) More cops to get people who run red lights.49) Review roadways and sidewalks.50) Street lights at intersection of Lewis Turner and Hwy 85 (near museum).51) Sychronize traffic lights where you do not sit stopped at every one.52) Additional lane on HWY 9853) There should be a sidewalk on Greenbriar; many people walk along that road to get to the Shell station and 54) Transit that stays in local areas as well as surrounding areas; make it affordable.55) Hwy98 and Benning traffic light too long.56) I live off 98 and wish there was a sidewalk to run on. 57) Better weater website (for tourists looking to travel to Destin).58) Cars coming from Shalimar Ponte ‐ speeding down the road, need speed bumps put in on the straght away. Meigs is a 20mph drive road. Can't ride a bike safely, walking is unsafe. Roads are closed off. We have flooding every time there's a storm or heavy rain. Something need to be done by lift station. 59) Traffic lanes heading south ‐ prior to red light at Mary Esther/Beale Pwky intersetion, the right turn lane begins a nice distance from intersection, however, sopme cars get into the right lane so they can get ahead of the cars backed up in the 2 lanes heading south. They then swtich into the lane to the left of the right turn lanes. 60) High speed train from Jacksonville to New Orleans (2 people made this comment)61) Lower tolls on toll bridges62) More, safer bike paths. Sadly too many bikers and walkers killed. 63) Park & Ride from Bluewater/Niceville to Destin Commons/Walmart64) Community transportation ‐ Improve wait times for pick‐ups65) Traffic in Destin is a daily nightmare! Bypass would be good. 66) US98 Bypass ‐ Hwy 87 to Hurlburt to Eglin67) I agree with you top 3 items, now, just get it done!
