IntroductionWerecognizethatallemergencysituationscannotbeanticipated.Ifanemergencysituationarisesthatisnotcoveredinthisplan,theAirportManagerhastheauthoritytodirectsuchactionsasheorshemaydeemnecessary.

Aircra accident: Anyoccurrenceassociatedwiththeoperationofanaircrathattakesplacebetweenthetimeapersonboardstheaircrawiththeintentionofightandthetimesuchperson

hasdisembarked,inwhichapersonsuersdeathorseriousinjuryasaresultoftheoccurrenceorinwhichtheaircrareceivessubstantialdamage.

Aircra incident: Anyoccurrenceassociatedwiththeoperationofanaircrathatisnotconsideredanaircraaccident.

Incident Classication System

Level 1.Accidentmayhappen.Forexample,thereisalandinggearproblem,orasituationoremergencyexistsorisperceivedtoexistthatmayresultinanincidentoraccident.isincludessituationswhereitisnotknownifanincidentoraccidentemergencyhasactuallyoccurred.

Level 2. Anaircraisknownorsuspectedtohaveanoperationaldefectthataectsnormalightoperationstotheextentthatthereisdangerofanaccident.

Level 3. Anaircraaccidenthasoccurredonorinthevicinityoftheairport.

Forasuspiciouspackageorparcel,donotmoveoropenthepackage. Establishanisolationzoneontheairportandclearitofallpersonnel. Haveallpassengersleavebaggageandcargo.Allpersonsshouldbedetaineduntilclearedbythedesignated

lawenforcementpersonnel. Notifythepolicedepartmentbycalling911. NotifytheTSAat866-907-8391. Ifonanaircra,notifytheperson(s)orrmthatownstheaircra.

Establishedaperimeteraroundtheareawitha1500-footminimumdistancefromtheaircra. Permitonlyrescuecrewsandauthorizedpersonnelwithintheperimeterifradioactivesmoke-

borneorwind-carriedparticlesarepresent. Closedoorsandwindowsofbuildingsintheareawhereblowingsmoke-borneorotherparticles

arepresent.Evacuatearea.
