Who to Call In Case of Emergencies
in Italy
Public phones are scattered all
over Italy and are normally
operated with a phone card
which can be bought at any tobacconist, coffee bar, or newsstand.
But when dialing an emergency
number, a card is not needed.

Italian hospitals are required to treat
