Funds(NASVF),wasapproachedbytheFederalLaboratoryConsortiumwithatechtransferconundrum.
TheFLCwasseekingawaytointroducefederallabtechnologiestoinvestorsandFortune100licensees.
TheNASVFwaslookingfornewsourcesfordealflowfortheirinvestor-members.Theconceptquicklytook
formandin2002,DevelopmentCapitalNetworks(DCN)launchedthefirsteverWorld’sBestTechnologies
(WBT)foruminPittsburgh,PA.
Today, theWBT InnovationMarketplacehasemergedas thepremier forumofpre-screened,prepped,
undiscoveredcompaniesandtechnologies,sourcedfromuniversities,labs,andgarageslocatedacrossthe
countryandaroundtheglobe.TheWBTistheculminationofayear-longeffortofinvestors,licensees,

ApplicationsarereturnedtotheWBTteamwitharecommendationand
feedback.Allfeedbackisprovidedtotheapplicantatnocost,whether
