• Toy Car
• 5 lb weight x2
• Dominos x4 sets
Problems
•Took 4 seconds to pull up
• Truck kept stalling
• Friction in ramp and wheels
Solutions
•Added mouse traps & dominos
• Added 2 five lb weights to car
• Sanded ramp
• Mouse Trap = elastic potential energy kinetic energy
• Car = potential energy kinetic energy
• Dominos = potential energy kinetic energy

What Could be Improved• Find more ways to slow the weight down to equal 10
seconds
• Quicker setup for convenience
Things Learned• Simple is better
• You knock one domino over…you knock all the dominos
over
• We’ve got a looooong way to go in engineering
