employers: change the world your way with makerble office
DESCRIPTION
Makerble enables your staff to help charities make change. As a corporate organisation you can encourage your employees to identify the causes they care about. Makerble then finds relevant projects from our library of charities for employees' monthly donations to fund. Whenever those projects create change, it's reported on Makerble and published to your organisation's Makerble Change Board and to individual staff members' Makerble profiles.TRANSCRIPT
MAKERBLE OFFICE:EMPLOYEES HELPING CHARITIES MAKE CHANGE
There’s a desire to change the world within each of us
But often our day-to-day lives get in the way
Lots of initiatives try to rectify this by marrying charity with the workplace
For some, this still leaves them wanting
“I don’t donate money to charity because I’m not confident that my donation won’t
be wasted.
That’s why I volunteer my time instead because that way I see the direct impact of
what I put in”HSBC Investment Manager, aged 30-35, male

Research shows that if charities made their progress more visible, people would be inspired to give more and the number of people
giving would rise9.5million latent donors, £665million/year available in extra donations

As a team we’ve seen this happen before£25 average donation, 22-35 year olds, 40 projects, £80,000, member-
get-member marketing, repeat attendees, charities earned loyalty

Makerble visualises the impact of your donations to charityon both an individual and a company level

And displays the specific projects your employees’ donate to with stories of the lives changed
Each staff member has access via their own Makerble account

Personalised monthly email newsletter | Mobile app notificationsMakers have a Change Score which equates to their total impact across all the projects they’ve ever made possible
This can be published to employees’, and (if you so choose) the Company’s social network, spreading the good news

for customers and stakeholders
The Change Profile automatically updates to publish the impact of user donations through statistics, pictures, video, and text.
Content can be time-tagged and geo-tagged to make it interactive through the Timeline and Map features.

Tailored company checkout| Up to a limit you control
We provide ready-made employee engagement resources which you can implement quickly and easily
Makerble has a Transaction Transparency Fee of 4% on donations with an additional 1% going to our payment partner
Makerble's Transaction Transparency costs 4p/£1 donated. Our investment in Transaction Transparency means that you can be sure that the money you raise and donate is spent on specific projects and is not disappearing into a general pot.
The transparency infrastructure and tools we're building have the added benefit of enabling charities to become more efficient and effective.
1. Financially efficient: on average, charities spend 15p on marketing and admin costs for each £1 raised. Makerble reduces this figure to only 5p for online donations and 4p for corporate BACS donations. Across the charitable sector this could generate a combined saving of £900million/annum.
2. Operationally efficient: typically charities have a long time lag between work happening and it being reported back to head office and then onto donors. Makerble's mobile apps enable charity staff on the ground to report back to donors in real-time.
3. Operationally effective: our open platform for transparency means charities share the data about their work enabling other charities to compare, learn, improve and innovate, leading to a higher quantity of lives changed, and a higher quality of change made.
