REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Code Enforcement Services Schuylkill Township The Township of Schuylkill is requesting proposals from qualified individuals and/or consulting firms to provide municipal code enforcement services within the Township. Duties will include the development and establishment of a code enforcement process to ensure follow through and compliance, detailed record keeping of each case and support services to ensure code compliance within the Township. Duties will also include maintenance of records of inspections and enforcement of efforts; research and compiled data for each case; prepare required documentation for legal actions; testify in court proceedings regarding code violations; perform follow up actions as needed to gain compliance; confer with related agencies and municipal officials on disposition of complaints and code violations; prepare detailed and specialized written reports and correspondence related to code enforcement inspections, violations and other activities that are adequate for use in prosecution of violations. Schuylkill Township consists of the Village of Newkirk, Reevesdale, Mary-D, Brockton, and Tuscarora. Proposals consisting of qualifications, experience, insurance coverage, and schedule of rates shall be submitted to the Board of Supervisors of Schuylkill Township at 75 Walnut Street, P.O. Box 405, Mary-D, PA 17952, by September 11, 2015.

PART-TIME SECRETARY/TREASURERSchuylkill Township

is seeking a candidate who will work approximately 25 hours per week

Work up to 25 hours per week, be well organized, have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Pro, municipal budgeting, accounting, human resources, payroll, meeting minutes, insurance, contracts, grants, PA Township Code, ordinances and resolutions, filing, notices and advertising postings, Sunshine Laws and Open Records Act.

Applicant must be able to be bonded and work with attention to detail on high confidential materials.

ROAD/MAINTENANCE PERSONNELSchuylkill Township

Road/Maintenance Personnel will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of Township roads, recreation areas, buildings, grounds and equipment.  Must possess mechanical skills.  Snow plowing plus backhoe/loader experience required.  Previous infrastructure experience preferred.  Full time positons with overtime as required.  Salary and benefits based on experience.  Valid PA Driver's License required.
