MARINE BIOLOGIST – PHILIPPA DARBYSHIRE-JENKINS

Holding a Bachelors Degree in Marine Biology and Zoology from the University of Bangor, and a Masters Degree in Marine Conservation from the University of Aberdeen, Philippa is committed to sustainability and animal welfare. Her mission is to educate younger generations about these practices in order to ensure a brighter future.

Philippa has gained experience with Manta Trust, been a Resident Marine Biologist in Kuramathi, Maldives, as well as the Resident Marine Biologist at Its Maafushivaru, Maldives. Her passion is in protecting whale sharks, manta rays, coral reefs, sea turtles and implementing environmentally friendly practices for businesses, organizations and communities.

During her time at Niyama, Philippa will share her expertise on coral restoration projects and install frames when and where possible.

TANDEM SKYDIVING DHAALU

We are so excited to introduce skydiving in the Maldives! Tandem skydiving with a qualified, professional instructor is a great way to get a taste for this exhilarating activity. Jump from 3,500 meters and free fall for 1 minute at speeds of up to 200 km/hr before a gentle, controlled parachute descent to the beach. A real adrenaline high!
