multi-bag retrieval bag With draining

The MuLTi-BAG made by Endo-Technik for retrieving polyps and foreign bodies is world famous. This small and innovative retrieval bag enables resected polyps to be collected with ease. it reduces the length of the procedure overall and prevents the failures inherent in a number of alternative methods. The structure of the tissues is not damaged - allowing accurate pathological examination.

The MuLTi-BAG is now even easier to use: The stiffened wire loop enables the practitioner to position the polyps or foreign bodies in the most favourable location for the operation while the new, reinforced sleeve will pass smoothly through the endoscope. The version designed for retrieving polyps is also fitted with a specially shaped bag which allows excellent view of the site during the operation.

Due to the unique structure of the material, there is no likelihood of redout as the samples are retrieved or as the endoscope is extubated. The recently developed MuLTi-BAG for polyps is ideal for retrieving polyps from the right colon and where the sample is more than 6 mm in length. it is equally suitable for retrieving polyps resected by the piecemeal technique.

When retrieving foreign bodies, the MuLTi-BAG has also demonstrated itself to be extremely effective and is, as a result, the preferred solution worldwide in paediatric clinics and where endoscopes are used for gastrointestinal emergencies. Coins, small batteries, medical accessories, bezoars, jammed pieces of meat etc. have been successfully removed with the MuLTi-BAG.
