k Must be roughly 5 pages without cover page, using Times New Roman 12, double spaced. l Must state argument in opening paragraph - the argument must be complex and have multiple partsl First 1-2 pages must explain the key points and sources that the paper will go into in more detail laterl By this point the paper should have a rough sequence of central points

FIRST ROUGH DRAFT3

k Must be roughly 8 pages l Must contain all elements from the first rough draftl Must have added more sourcesl Must include a counter argument sectionl Must have transitions between ideasl Must use proper MLA citation

SECOND ROUGH DRAFT4

l Must be roughly 5 minutes in lengthl Must explain the thesis of your research projectl Must explain some of the most important pieces of info you used to support your thesisl Must allow a minute for questions

ORAL PRESENTATION5

l Must be at least 10 pages long but no more than 15 and all peer reviewed drafts must be attachedl Must contain all elements from second rough draft but be more thorough, have clearer transitions, and be well organized and proofreadl Must include an ending that does NOT summarize what you have already said but instead explain what further questions the research raises or how the research might be applied in the real world
