Air Service Demand Task Force

When United Airlines made the decision to remove its

Hub from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE),

the GCP understood the importance of rallying the

business community together to enhance air service

at the airport in support of business growth within the

region. The Air Service Demand Task Force serves as

a resource for the development of a comprehensive

strategy to inform, educate and advocate for the

importance of investing in CLE and how its constituents

can support existing carriers as well as advocating for the

expansion of service at CLE. In addition, the Task Force

works with staff to identify policy issues affecting CLE’s

ability to manage a cost-effective airport to support

carrier expansion and opportunities to provide guidance

on the business travelers needs at CLE.

Engagement opportunities are listed by subject area.
