What will the focus of this online group be? (Topic)• The focus of this focus group is to create

a community of primary teachers to share ideas of how free Web2.0 tools can be used in the primary classroom.• These tools will be divided into sub-

groups: tools for presentation, for collaboration, for creative writing, for publishing, for creating quizzes.• We shall also be seeing tools which pupils

may use to create content themselves.

Who will be the audience?

• The members of this online group will be the primary teachers.

What are your objectives for opening such a group?

•Sharing of ideas of lesson ideas using free Web2.0 tools•Sharing of resources•Communication and collaboration between teachers.

What content will you publish?• Examples of Web2.0 tools and video

tutorials on how to register and what can be created with such tools.• Present practical ideas of how such tools

can be used in the classroom• Have screen shots of any activities

created by pupils using online tools.

What new content will you add and how often in order to give people a reason to return?• A forum where the teachers can discuss their

ideas. As the moderator, I would make it a point to contribute to the discussion and comment to posts made by members.• As a moderator I will be in constant contact

with the members by email.• A new Web2.0 tool is introduced every week.• An online page where teachers can paste any

link or upload any content they have created.
