ENERGY is becoming a SERVICE The boundaries between traditional delivery of energy and services
are becoming less defined. Progressively the needs of customers are
converging and they are looking for a single integrated solution. ENGIE is
uniquely positioned to deliver strategic and transformational outcomes
for public and private sector customers, providing both cost and energy
efficiency, unlocking greater value for a customer.
Buildings & Places with EMBEDDED ENERGYThe fabric of cities is changing through the evolution of buildings, the
adoption of smart technology bringing greater energy efficiency and the
inclusion of embedded PV and storage capabilities. Energy will increasingly
be produced locally and stored within batteries. Green mobility solutions will
require energy to be incorporated within homes and places. ENGIE enables
communities across the UK to achieve energy, services and regeneration
solutions to successfully and sustainably improve and maintain local areas.
Empowering customers with DATA DRIVEN solutionsThe requirement for greater efficiency and cost reduction sees technology
and digitalisation playing a greater role in the implementation of intelligent
and connected solutions for customers. The internet of things, big data and
mobile technology are changing the way information is used and providing
actionable insights centred on customer behaviour. Intelligent workplaces,
differentiated energy solutions, smarter FM and the implementation of
smart grids all support the digital optimisation of cities buildings and homes
to enable ENGIE customers to maximise the potential of their operations.
INVESTMENT in LOW CARBON infrastructureEnsuring a secure and sustainable energy future is a key challenge facing
the UK. ENGIE is committed to increasing investment in a portfolio of
both flexible and responsive low carbon assets, including storage, and the
development of wind and solar. Aside from strategic, grid-balancing power
plants providing security of supply, the business is adapting its energy and
portfolio management skills to work closely with an increasing number of
customers to provide the additional resilience of large-scale decentralised
generation solutions.
