Product Advantage1. Structurally stable - a lot more than wood. In other words, it will not warp or budge likesolid wood; natural wood flooring is more prone to problems.2. Easier to install than solid hardwood as you have a greater range of installation methods,including stapling or nailing, fold-and-lock, or glue.3. Better than solid hardwood at dealing with moisture. Its plywood base is dimensionallystable, meaning that it warps and flexes less easily upon contact with moisture than solidwood. Fibers in plywood run in cross-wise layers, a far more stable structure than solidwood's parallel fibers.4. It can be installed below-grade with a proper sub-floor and as long as the basement hasabsolutely no moisture problems.5. It can be sanded and refinished. A quality engineered floor will last as long and perform aswell as a solid wood floor, and can even be refinished, although just not as many times assolid hardwood.6. Good characteristic for heated floor

AUSTRALIAN COLLECTIONSpotted gum is one of Australia’s premium native hardwoods with astriking appearance and a high degree of natural durability and strength,making it an ideal timber for a variety of structural, exterior and interiorapplications. Architects and designers throughout the world value spottedgum timbers for their back-sawn grain structure, attractive markings andvibrant colour palette.

Blackbutt is a common tree in the wild and its timber is an Australianfavourite. The timber is a light pale straw, it’s hardy and versatile.Blackbutt's colour, figure and suitability for staining makes it popular forindoor use. Additionally, its high natural durability and strength make itpopular for external & structural use.

Jarrah is one of the few commercial species from western Australia. It isrenowned world-wide for its density, resistance to insect attack andbeautiful rich rec color which deepens over time into a soft burgundy. Itsbeautiful coloring and exceptional hardness are a perfect combination forcommercial and residential flooring.

Tasmanian Oak is a combination of three Eucalypt species commonlyfound in Tasmania. Together they produce a blend of beautiful coloringfrom pale cream to pink and reddish brown. Tasmanian Oak logs are quartersawn to produce an extremely straight and even grain.

Ironbark produces a stunning array of timber hues from pale brown todark chocolate brown as well as dark red. The grain is usually interlocked,with a moderately coarse texture.

Brush Box has long been sought after for its unique properties andaesthetic qualities. It has a fine and even texture with a beautiful, richcolor. It can carry from pale pinkish grey to rich reddish brown.
