Replacedtheolddoortie-backp/n236801withthenewtie-backp/n195695for2018.Thenewdoortie-backaddsmoreflexibilitytosecuringthebindoor.Anychainlinkcanbesecuredtothebinusinganexistingorfield-drilledwallsheetorstiffenerhole.Thisnewtie-backusesahooktoattachtothedoorhandle’slockablering.

Additionofamanualwinchtohelpeasilyopenthe52”diameterremotecaplid.Thisappliesto30’-54’diameterbins.Anadditionalchangeforallbins15’-54’indiameteristheadditionofapushnuttohelppreventspringsfromcomingloose.

Addedaretainingclipp/n232798foreveryroofringexpander.Thisclipbendsoverandattachestheexpandertotheroofringusingaself-drillingscrew.Thisclipwillensuretheexpanderisnotabletocomelooseandfalldownoffthebinintheeventthataroofwithpluggedventspopsout.

1. LadderRung&InspectionHatchLatch–5/16”Steel-BackedNeopreneWashers• Wehavereplacedthe5/16”polysealingwashers(p/n235929)with5/16” steel-backedneoprenesealingwashers(p/n193774)• Thesteel-backedwasherswillholdupbetterwhensqueezedagainsttheladder

rungslotsorroofpanel,andwillnottear.Thiswilldobettertoensureaweathertightseal.

2. StructuralRooftoBinWall–3/8”Steel-BackedNeopreneWashers

• Wehavereplacedthe3/8”polysealingwashers(p/n154951)with3/8” steel-backedneoprenesealingwashers(p/n193775)• Thesteel-backedwashersareusedtoinstalltheinteriorstiffenersthatsupport

theroofrafters.Theywillholdupbetterthanthepolywasherswhensqueezedbetweenthespacernutandtheinsidesurfaceofthewallsheet.Thiswillworkbettertoensureaweathertightseal.

3. BottomAngletoTubeCaulking

• 2tubesofcaulking(p/n170445)willbeincludedwitheveryflatbottombininordertoprovidesealinginandaroundthebottomangletowallsheetconnection,ifneeded

4. BottomAngletoWallSheetConnection–3/8”FlangedNuts

• Thestandard3/8”hexnutshavebeenreplacedwith3/8”flangednutsinordertomakecoveringthebottomangleslotseasier.

• The3/8”flatwashersarestillincludedforthislocationifneeded.

Replacedtheformerroofringclipp/n195062withanimprovedversionp/n195063.Thenewroofringcliphasanadditionalflangeand2holesthatallowaU-bolttofirmlyattachtheroofringtotheclip.Thisimproveddesigndecreaseswindvibrationoftheroofpanels.
