Homework• Following the style of “The Frog Prince,”

write your own poem based on a famous fairy tale or nursery rhyme. Try to give the original story a humorous twist while at the same time conveying an insight about life.

• Your poem should also mirror Smith’s use of diction/wordplay – 2 different words
